Mumbai-Pune Expressway will be Toll-FREE from 10 Sept to 13 Sept & 23 Sept 2018.
Vehicles travelling to Konkan via Pune and Kolhapur between September 10 and September 13 will be exempted from paying toll.
Motorists returning to Mumbai, Thane from Konkan after the festival ends, too, will not have to pay toll on September 23.
The toll waiver will also be applicable for Maharashtra state transport buses
This will give benefit to thousands of people traveling to hometowns in Raigad, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli, Ahmad Nagar and other places of the state from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai during Ganeshotsav 2018.
Note: To avail this FREE pass on express way, You must have ‘Ganeshotsav-2018 Konkan Darshan’ Sticker pasted on your vehicle.
How to get the ‘Ganeshotsav-2018 Konkan Darshan’ sticker?
To get this ‘Ganeshotsav-2018 Konkan Darshan’ you need to approach the traffic police and regional transport RTOs.
You will have to go to the nearest RTO office or Traffic Police office to get a pass. You will have to give your details such as residential address, address of the place they are visiting in Konkan, vehicle registration number, mobile number for this pass.
At the toll booths, you have to simply present the slip and you will be allowed to drive through.

The Mumbai-Pune Expressway will be shut for two hours post-noon today 6 Sept 2018 till 2 PM. Vehicles will be diverted towards the old Mumbai-Pune highway, via Shedung Phata, The traffic will rejoin the Expressway at Khalapur toll naka .. Heavy vehicles will be stopped from plying on the route during this period
Mumbai – Pune expressway will be closed for 15 mins after every half hour from 10:00 am to 3:15 pm starting today
